I purchased the extended warentee for a Miele stove. The appliance failed. I went to State Street and they did nothing but give me a tel no to call. I called Miele to learn that I didn't actually pay for their warentee, rather I paid for the store's version. But State Street doesn't do repairs. No hope to get support or reimbursement
It was refreshing to walk into a store with sales people who genuinely want to help AND know what they're talking about. Bought a washer and dryer six years ago and have yet to have an issue. Went back to Portsmouth a few months ago when it came time to replace all my kitchen appliances. Had a sense of what I wanted, but worked closely with State Street team to make sure fridge, range/hood, dishwasher, beverage center checked as many boxes as possible (price, availability, reliability, aesthetic). Very happy with purchases and experience.
If you want a company that hangs up on you once you call and leave multiple voice-mail and no word back not a good company to work for nor shop at if I could give it a zero star I would

Worked with Allison who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The best was how they treated me when I had a problem with one of the appliances.This is when you find out about the company and how they treat and respond to their customers after the sale.
Allison worked with the manager Rob and took care of everything. They were 100% focused on making sure everything was taken care of as quickly as possible. Rob took the time to meet with me and assure me everything would be taken care of and not to worry. They took the appliance back and replaced it right away with no hassle.
I highly recommend State Street Discount. They are 100% focused on customer satisfaction.

We bought 5 Samsung TV for a summer home used 2 months out of the year. Both have died after a total of 6 months of use. I called Samsung. The TVs should last 10 years. Where are they getting there products and why are they defective?
